The man once known as Saul traversed many roads in his time to combat the work of Christians, but ONE road would be different.
He was hurrying along the road to Damascus to persecute Christians, but he got more than he bargained for when Saul met Christ Himself. This encounter would change his life forever. Saul, the persecutor of Christians, became Paul, the Apostle of Christ.
Why is there a need for a Savior?
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned (Rom 5:12 KJV)
Are there any exceptions?
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23 KJV)
What are the consequences of this sin?
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:23 KJV)
What provisions have been made to pay this debt?
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.(Rom 5:8 KJV)
How shall I respond to this invitation?
By faith in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ!
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph 2:8-9 KJV)
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Rom 10:12-13 KJV)
What is the result of Salvation?
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Rom 5:1-2 KJV)
